Red Cord, String, Yarn or Ribbon

Compass(1 part = 1 teaspoon, 1 Tablespoon, etc.) |
Add Each herb one at a time to your earthen
bowl.
Use your power hand to mix them, while picturing them
protecting your house and all within.
Spread out the cloth and add the herbs to the center of the
cloth. Gather corners together and tie with the red cord, while saying in a firm voice:
I bind thee to
protect this house and all within.
This will be your first knot. You will be
tieing 13 knots in all. With each knot, say the saying above.
When done stand facing North, holding your magic knife in your
power hand, the sachet in your other hand. With the top of the knife touching the sachet
say:
May this that I
have fashioned tonight serve as guardian and protection for this house and all who reside
within it.
May it server me
well.
Hang the sachet at the highest point in your
house or in a
closet.
